What it’s actually like on the truck.
No dispatch queue handing you a ticket you’ve never seen. You get told what the job is, you get the material you asked for, and you get room to do it right the first time.
Pay
Based on what you can do, not a posted band. Bring your license, your hours, and what you’ve been making. We’ll have a straight conversation about it on the first call.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. Overtime exists and it’s paid, but we are not running a 24/7 dispatch. Emergency calls rotate, they don’t land on one person every week.
The work
Residential, commercial, and municipal across five counties. Panels, generators, EV chargers, marina and pool work, control cabinets, new construction. You will not be doing the same thing every day.

Journeyman Electrician
You can walk a service call start to finish without anyone checking your work. Panel changes, service upgrades, troubleshooting a circuit that three other people already looked at. You pull your own permits and you can talk to an inspector without it turning into a problem.
Most weeks are a mix of residential in the cabin corridor and commercial in Knoxville. Generac experience is a real plus and we will get you certified if you aren’t yet.
- TN journeyman card
- 4+ years in the trade
- Clean driving record
- Own hand tools
Residential Apprentice
You’ve got some time in and you want the rest of your hours somewhere they’ll actually teach you. You’ll ride with a journeyman, run your own circuits by month three, and get your hours documented properly so your license doesn’t stall out on paperwork.
We’d rather have someone curious than someone fast. If you ask why a thing is done that way, you’ll fit here.

Electrician’s Helper
Zero electrical background is fine. Show up on time, keep the truck and the jobsite clean, learn the names of the parts, and in a year you’ll be pulling wire and starting your hours. This is how most of the good electricians in this county started.
What we can’t teach is showing up. If you’re dependable, the trade will pay you for the rest of your life.
