Commercial EV. Lot to fleet.
Multi-port parking-lot chargers, fleet vehicle charging, networked installs (ChargePoint, EVgo, BTC Power, EvoCharge, ABB), load management for high-density installs, and customer-parking charging integrated with your business systems.
The economics finally work.
Customer-parking EV chargers were marketing line-items five years ago. Now they’re traffic drivers — for hotels, restaurants with longer dwell times, retail anchors, and any business near a highway corridor. Fleet operators are converting because the math works on the kilowatt cost vs gas. Federal tax credits, utility rebates, and the falling cost of hardware have moved commercial EV from “speculative” to “we should just do this.”
Common commercial scope: customer-parking installs (2-12 ports at a hotel, restaurant, or retail center, networked to a billing platform), fleet vehicle charging (depot-style installs for delivery, service, or municipal fleets), workplace charging (employee benefit installs at office parks and corporate campuses), and multi-tenant residential (HOA or apartment-complex installs serving multiple residents).
Load management is the dividing line between low-cost and high-cost installs. A 12-port parking lot with all 12 charging simultaneously at 50A each is a 600A load. Most commercial services aren’t sized for that, and a service upgrade adds $30,000+ to the project. Load management systems (ChargePoint Power Sharing, EVgo Smart Charging, BTC Power’s Dynamic Load Balancing) limit total simultaneous draw so the install fits the existing service.
For utility rebates, TVA EnergyRight has commercial EV charging rebates, and many TVA-LPC distributors (KUB, Sevier County Electric Co-op, etc.) have additional local programs. We file the paperwork as part of the install.

Commercial EV capabilities.
Multi-port parking-lot installs
2-12 port installs at hotels, restaurants, retail centers. Pedestal-mount or wall-mount, networked to a billing platform (ChargePoint, EVgo, BTC Power), proper lighting and signage for the charging area.
Fleet vehicle charging
Depot-style installs for delivery, service, or municipal fleets. Load management to fit existing service, scheduled charging for off-peak utility rates, fleet-management software integration.
Networked + billing integration
ChargePoint, EVgo, BTC Power, EvoCharge, ABB networked installs. Customer billing, RFID access, mobile app charging, energy usage reporting, and tax-credit / rebate documentation.
Load management for existing service
Avoid expensive service upgrades by limiting total simultaneous draw with load management. ChargePoint Power Sharing, dynamic load balancing, scheduled charging. Often saves $30,000+ vs service upgrade.
Workplace + multi-tenant residential
Employee benefit installs at office parks (typically Level 2 with employee-billing or company-paid), HOA and apartment-complex installs serving multiple residents with shared cost allocation.
TVA + utility rebate filing
TVA EnergyRight commercial EV rebates, local TVA-LPC programs (KUB, Sevier Co-op, etc.), federal Alternative Fuel Vehicle Refueling Property Credit (30C). Filed as part of the install.

Our hotel needed 6 charging ports for guests. The first quote we got included a $35,000 service upgrade. Volt Pro proposed load management instead, kept the existing service, and the install was about half the price. Two years in, the chargers are full most nights and we haven’t tripped the main once.
Five things we get asked every week.
Do I need a service upgrade for multi-port commercial EV charging?
What networked charging platforms do you install?
Are there utility rebates for commercial EV charging?
How long does a commercial EV install take?
What does commercial EV charging cost per port?
Commercial EV in scope?
On-site walk-through within the week. Itemized quote before any work starts.
